SELECT Interior Emulsion Eggshell Finish – CS 519

A superior quality paint that dries to an elegant eggshell lustre. Use on properly prepared plaster, concrete, bricks, masonry, gypsum board, and wood. It has no unpleasant odour and features a spatter-resistant formulation, fast dry, and excellent covering qualities. Provides a durable finish that is more washable than a flat paint. Suitable for schools, hospitals, nurseries, offices and areas receiving above normal wear.

Surface Preparation

Surface to be painted must be clean, dry and free of grease, dirt, dust, flaking paint and mildew. Dull glossy areas by sanding. Apply two coats of CS 519 SELECT Interior Emulsion after priming the surface as outlined below.
New Plaster, Gypsum Board: Prime with a full coat of CS 192 WALL PLUS Waterborne Micronized Stabilizing Eco Primer or CS 570 THE PERFECT PRIMER Alkyd Multi-primer & sealer.
Masonry, Concrete, Bricks: Prime with CS 182 WALL PLUS Solventborne, Waterproofing Stabilizing Primer or CS 181 WALL PLUS Waterborne Alkali-Resistant Primer.
Previously Painted Surfaces: If surface is sound, prime with CS 023 THE PERFECT PRIMER All-purpose Eco Primer. Fill nail holes and cracks and sand when dry. Patched surfaces should be spot-primed with CS 023 THE PERFECT PRIMER All-purpose Eco Primer. If previous coating is old porous lime, apply an overall coat of CS 182 WALL PLUS Solventborne, Waterproofing Stabilizing Primer.
New Wood: Prime surfaces with CS 570 THE PERFECT PRIMER Alkyd Multi-primer & sealer or CS 023 THE PERFECT PRIMER All-purpose Eco Primer.

For Application By

Stir paint thoroughly before use. Apply by brush, roller or spray. Use a short nap roller on smooth surfaces. Thin as 5% with clean water.
Do not apply at temperatures below 10OC. Drying times are longer in cool/moist conditions.

Clean Up

Clean equipment in warm, soapy water.
