Surface Preparation
Surface to be painted must be clean and free of dirt, dust, grease, and flaking paint. Remove loose material by scraping and sanding. Dull glossy areas by sanding. Apply two coats of CS 587 ULTRATRIM Satin Wood & Metal Enamel after priming as outlined below.
New Wood: Spot prime all caulked nailholes and patches with CS 570 THE PERFECT PRIMER Alkyd Multi-Primer. Allow to dry, then apply a full coat of Alkyd Multi-Primer. Sand to a smooth surface.
New Plaster, Gypsum Board: Prime with CS 192 WALL PLUS Micronized Stabilizing Eco Primer or CS 570 THE PERFECT PRIMER Alkyd Multi-primer.
Ferrous Metal: Remove rust and loose material before priming exposed metal with CS 568 THE PERFECT PRIMER Rust Primer.
Previously Painted Surfaces: Prime with CS 023 THE PERFECT PRIMER Acrylic Eco Primer or CS 570 THE PERFECT PRIMER Alkyd Multi-primer.
For Application By
Stir thoroughly before use. Apply by brush, roller or spray. Use short nap roller on smooth surfaces. Thin 5% with clean water. Do not apply at temperatures below 10OC. Drying times are longer under cool/moist conditions.
Clean Up
Clean equipment in warm, soapy water after painting.

May produce an allergic reaction.
