SELECT Interior Emulsion Flat Finish – CS 515

A superior quality paint that produces a beautiful, uniform, flat finish on properly prepared plaster, concrete, bricks, masonry, gypsum board, and wood. It has no unpleasant odour and features easy application, a spatter-resistant formulation, fast dry, excellent covering qualities and soap and water cleanup. Deep colours in flat paints do not lend themselves to hard usage or washing because they have a tendency to scuff or burnish. For areas subject to excessive wear or rough handling, use CS 519 Select

Surface Preparation

Surface to be painted must be clean, dry and free of grease, dirt, dust, flaking paint and mildew. Dull glossy areas by sanding. Apply two coats of CS 515 Select after priming the surface as outlined below.
New Plaster, Gypsum Board: Prime with a full coat of CS 192 Wall Plus Waterborne Micronized Stabilizing Eco Primer or CS 570 The Perfect Primer, Alkyd Multi Primer & Sealer.
Masonry, Concrete, Bricks: Prime with CS 182 Wall Plus Solventborne Waterproofing Stabilizing Primer or CS 181 Wall Plus Waterborne Alkali-Resistant Primer.
Previously Painted Surfaces: If surface is sound, prime with CS 023 The Perfect Primer, All-purpose Eco Primer. Fill nail holes and cracks and sand when dry. Patched surfaces should be spot-primed with CS 023 The Perfect Primer, All-purpose Eco Primer. If previous coating is old porous lime, apply an overall coat of CS 182 Wall Plus Solventborne primer.
New Wood: Prime surfaces with CS 570 The Perfect Primer, Alkyd Multi Primer & Sealer or CS 023 The Perfect Primer, All-purpose Eco Primer.

For Application By

Stir paint thoroughly before use. Apply by brush, roller or spray. Use a short nap roller on smooth surfaces. Thin as 5% with clean water.
Do not apply at temperatures below 10OC. Drying times are longer in cool/moist conditions.

Clean Up

Clean equipment in warm, soapy water.
