Surface Preparation
Surface to be painted must be clean and free of dirt, grease, dirt, dust, flaking paint and mildew. Dull glossy areas by sanding. Apply one or two coats of CS 219 Eco Studio Soft Matte after priming the surface as outlined below.
New Plaster, Gypsum Board: Prime with a full coat of CS 192 WALL PLUS Waterborne Micronized Stabilizing Eco Primer or CS 023 THE PERFECT PRIMER All-purpose Eco Primer.
Masonry, Concrete, Bricks: CS 023 THE PERFECT PRIMER All-purpose Eco Primer or with CS 181 WALL PLUS Waterborne, Alkali-resistant Primer Interior/Exterior.
Previously Painted Surfaces: If surface is sound, prime with CS 023 THE PERFECT PRIMER All-purpose Eco Primer. Fill nail holes and cracks and sand when dry. Patched surfaces should be spot-primed with CS 023 THE PERFECT PRIMER All-purpose Eco Primer. If previous coating is old porous lime, apply and overall coat of CS 192 WALL PLUS Waterborne Micronized, Stabilizing Eco Primer.
For Application By
Stir paint thoroughly before use. Apply by brush, roller, or spray. Use short nap roller on smooth surfaces. Thin 5% with clean water. Do not apply at temperatures below 10°C. Close container when not in use. Dries in 1 hour. Recoat in 2 to 4 hours. Drying times are longer in cool/moist conditions
Clean Up
Remove as much as possible from brushes and rollers before cleaning. Clean brushes and equipment with water and detergent solution immediately after use. Do not empty into drains or watercourses. Dispose of empty container responsibly and according to local legislation.
