Surface Preparation
Surfaces to be finished must be free of wax, dirt, grease, dust and other contaminants. Dull glossy areas by sanding (do not use steel wool). New wood: Sand smooth using fine sandpaper following the grain of the wood.
Old finishes: Remove old finishes in poor condition. Sand old finishes in good condition until smooth.
For Application By
Stir thoroughly before use but do not shake. Apply as received in the container. Thin, if necessary with up to 5% of clean water. Apply by brush, roller, airless spray or applicator pad. Apply along the wood grain in thin, even coats. Maintain a wet edge during application – avoid working back into partially dried areas. Apply two or more coats over previous finishes and at least three coats on new wood. Sand lightly between coats to insure a smooth finish but do not use steel wool. Do not apply at air and surface temperatures below 10OC or under humid conditions.
